Sr. design architect with design team capabilities to collaborate with our Design Principals on projects is needed. The position entails developing clear design concepts, executing and overseeing the development of those concepts.
Other responsibilities of this position include coordinating, organizing and leading a design team in producing schematic and design development documents; directing and coordinating design consultants in these phases; teaming with the technical leader throughout CD’s for conformance with design concepts; and mentoring young architects.
Candidate should be an energetic, self-starter with ability to work within a project team, have a minimum of 6 years of related experience, be well-organized with good communication and presentation skills, have a strong AutoCAD literacy and hand-drawing skills, and a knowledge of codes.
DESIGNER:
- Minimum 6 years experience working in all phases of architecture
- Architectural registration required
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills required for communicating with others within the firm and outside of the firm
- Strong verbal, written, graphic and AutoCAD skills required
- Proven ability to bring about positive firm wide changes
